Vanessa vs Dixie
Tom Davis: “Ladies and Gentlemen, the next match is set for one fall! Introducing first, hailing from San Antonio, Texas! Standing 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighing in at 160lbs. She is the 3 Count Cowgirl and a member of United, DIXIE CLEMENT!!!”
‘Bullets in the Gun’ by Toby Keith plays over the PA as Dixie walks out from the backstage area and pauses, taking her hat off and waving to the crowd, as she puts the hat on, she raises the title up as the fans cheer. Dixie then makes her way down to the ring, climbing in and stands in the middle of the ring, before drawing her colt peacemaker and aiming it at the entranceway, making a firing motion setting off pyro near the entranceway. She holsters the gun and walks over to a corner, hanging her duster and hat on the ringpost, coming out of the corner, waiting for her opponent.
Jill Matthews: “Dixie Clement making her big debut against a true veteran of New Edge Wrestling. I’m excited to see how this match plays out!”
Vince Walters: “Hmph. She should join the Mafia, baby! United is a sinking ship!”
Tom Davis: “And introducing her opponent, hailing from Crystal Falls, Michigan. She stands 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighs in at 135lbs. She is THE New Edge Veteran and is a member of UnStable, VANESSA!!”
The crowd explodes into both cheers and jeers as 'Make a Move' by Icon for Hire trickles out from the speakers. Deep blue smoke flows out from the stage, and upward in a spiral, but no one comes out. As the smoke disperses at the end of the first half of the first verse, suddenly more smoke flows up around the ring, along with some exceedingly bright pyro, and there (out of seemingly nowhere) appears none other than Vanessa, coffee in hand. As the song says "everyone started out a little insane", V twirls the forefinger of her other hand in a circle beside her head and grins. She stops with her finger pointed at her temple, hand forming a 'gun'. She 'pulls the trigger' at the words "heart attack", and suddenly... a flame appears on her finger. She pouts, pulls her hand down, then shoots the crowd a cocky smirk before she blows out the fire. The music suddenly stops abruptly at the end of the chorus, with V curtsying before she simply awaits the start of the match, leaning against a turnbuckle and sipping her coffee.
Jill Matthews: “And here is Vanessa. Her... well dislike of Texans is well known and Dixie is known to be quite proud of being Texan. This should make for an interesting matchup to say the least.”
Vince Walters: “If I were Dixie, I’d be careful for that damn coffee. That crazy bitch V isn’t above using it to win a match.”
DING!
Vanessa and Dixie circle around each other and Dixie locks up with V, quickly pushing her back to a corner before giving her a stiff right hand in the mouth before sending V into the corner, charging in hard and nailing V with a dropkick to the back driving her into the turnbuckle, Vanessa gets to the ground only to be met with a series of boots to the guts and fists to the head as Dixie pummels V into a sitting position in the corner and walks out out of the corner, holding a hand up, making a lasso motion, bringing a cheer from the crowd.
Jill Matthews: “Wow! Dixie starting off firing on all cylinders. But sometimes emotion can work against you, too. She needs to stay focused.”
Vince Walters: “Really? Dixie just made a new flavor of coffee and served it to V. Whupass.”
Jill Matthews: “Whupass?”
Vince Walters: “Yeah...I’m trying my Texan accent.”
Jill Matthews: “Don’t quit your day job.”
V charges out of the corner and her and Dixie exchange forearm shots, Dixie using her slight size advantage to get an edge and boots V in the gut, and sends her into the ropes but V reverses, sending Dixie into the ropes, nailing a spinning back kick to the shin and then runs and nails Dixie with a scissors kick, dropping Dixie to the mat. Dragging Dixie to her feet, Vanessa sends the Texan into the ropes and plants her with a tilt a whirl DDT, going into a pin cover..

Dixie kicks out!
Jill Matthews: “Near fall there, but Dixie isn’t ready to go down just yet.”
Vince Walters: “We’ll have to see if Vanessa has anymore tricks up her sleeve.”
Vanessa drags Dixie to her feet, but Dixie counters with a jawbreaker. She then takes V down with a snapmare and kicks V right in the spine, stomping her boot a couple times as she measures V before nailing her with a vicious Buzzsaw kick that echoes throughout the arena and sends V face first onto the mat. Dixie rolls V up and goes for the cover..

Vanessa kicks out!
Jill Matthews: “Damn! After that big time kick to the head, V manages to kick out and stay in the fight!”
Vince Walters: “That’s okay. I think Dixie will have some surprises for V here...”
V pulls herself up, holding her heads and as Dixie advances, V holds her hand out and waves it around, producing a hand of cards with a flourish, though V’s grin disappears when she realizes she’s holding all Aces and Eights. Dixie grins and mouths “Dead Man’s Hand” and punches Vanessa right between the eyes sending her to the mat. Dixie hops up onto the ropes and springboards off, trying for a springboard 450 splash and V rolls out of the ring and Dixie hits face first on the mat, as V yells into the ring. “Silly Texan! Tits mean I’m a GIRL!”
Jill Matthews: “You get the feeling New Edge Wrestling would be a lot more interesting if Jesse Styles just put mics around the ring and listened to the trash talk between the wrestlers.”
Vince Walters: “Shush woman! You wanna get us fired!”
Dixie shakes her head as she tries to get up. Meanwhile, V climbs the top turnbuckle and measures Dixie, jumping off and nailing Dixie with a Dragonrana, going for a pin!

The two women seem to mutually break the pin and lay on the mat for a moment trying to regain their bearings.
Jill Matthews: “A lot of people forget Dixie has some technical skill but she showed it there, matching V pin for pin.”
Vince Walters: “That was semi-Sexual. I’d watch that all night.”
Jill Matthews: “...Pig. Regardless, V’s ‘You Spin Me Right Round Baby, Right Round.’ wasn’t enough to keep Dixie down and we’re still going at it.”
Vince Walters: “Good song, really. The move is cool too. You think her and Valora...”
Jill Matthews: “Ask them. Please. Then I can get someone decent out here.”
Both women get to their feet and V and Dixie exchange hard right hands before Dixie nails a boot to the gut and lifts her up, walking to the middle of the ring and depositing V on her head with a brainbuster. Dixie tries to lock in the Rodeo Lock but suddenly a burst of smoke goes off, and the Texan jumps to her feet trying to clear her vision. V holds her head but glares at Dixie, jumping up to her feet and jumping onto Dixie’s back, wrapping an arm around Dixie’s face, grabbing some of Dixie’s hair before dropping the woman on the back of her head, rolling her up, grabbing Dixie’s tights for extra leverage.

Jill Matthews: “deViate! But V cheated to get that win!!”
Vince Walters: “Only cheating if the ref sees it and evidently, he didn’t. But where was United?! If V had cheated and Dixie had been in the Mafia, we wouldn’t have left her hanging... all I’m saying.”
DING!
Tom Davis: “Ladies and Gentlemen.. the winner, by pinfall... VANESSA!!!”
