Opening
The camera pans up to the arena. Signs are being held up around the arena highlighting their favourite superstars. Vince and Jill are sat behind the announce table unaware that they are live. Vince focuses on the nearest camera as cheers go around the arena.
Vince Walters: Hi people. Welcome to not so sunny Britain. We are here in a whistle stop show in Brighton. This is sure to be an interesting show especially when you look at the main event we’ve had booked for tonight. It is going to be a match of epic proportions and with consequences that involve everyone in the promotion.
Jill Matthews: Seriously Vince, no one is impressed with your knowledge of grammar and your usage of big words. I mean, think of the gracious NEW fans in the United Kingdoms and some areas of the United States, they’re probably scratching their heads in confusion right now.
Vince Walters: Right, in other words, you don’t really care what is going on around here these days? We all need to put our foot down. We need to sort this war out before it destroys the whole of New Edge Wrestling.
Jill Matthews: Now was that as hard as you thought? I didn’t think so. Anyway, before we kick off what is sure to be a great show, we at NEW would like to show our appreciation for the fans from the United Kingdom. With the likes of Adrien Specter and Matthew Slater being from this country we like to interact with all our British friends. So with all they’ve given to the superstars of NEW, we’d like to give them a small bit back and ask you all to rise for the playing of the National Anthem of England.
The crunch of static from the two announcers’ headsets is heard as Vince and Jill take off their equipment and, like the rest of the arena, stand up with their right hands placed over their hearts.
Cameras pan around the sea of anxious people who are cheering loudly at the showing of respect towards England. Suddenly, the cheering ceases as the loudspeakers crackle, all attention devoted to these very special proceedings. A large Union Jack Flag unfolds from the rafters and hangs majestically over the ring area, each ear expecting to hear the national anthem.
However, as "Narcissistic Cannibal" by Korn began to blare loudly through the arena, it was eerily evident that this wouldn’t be a time for celebration. At least it wouldn’t be if it was who they thought it was had anything to do with it. Outraged and appalled, the almost speechless fans erupted in hatred all at once.
Crowd: Boo!!!
Dressed in black jeans and a “Sadistic Bastard” t-shirt, Nocturnal; a man known as the Innovator of Darkness and the Dark Icon, steps onto the steel ramp way with the glee showing right across his face. With his sister Emily Koresh stood at his right, Nocturnal stood at the entrance stage absorbing the hatred, almost as it were to fuel him in the upcoming confrontation. He began his slow walk down to the ring, ignoring all that are around him whilst showing his complete distaste for any signs that have his name on it.
As the first family step into the ring, the cameras catch glimpse of Vince and Jill, still standing ringside in shock. Finally, the collective voices of NEW sit down and adjust their equipment, immediately having something to say.
Jill Matthews: What the hell? This is so disrespectful to our fan from the United Kingdom. They should be on their feet singing.
Vince Walters: For once, Jill, I second your opinions. Alas, my colleague, there is nothing we can do in this case. Just sit back and bide our time whilst Nocturnal and his sister have their time.
Jill Matthews: Curse doing nothing! I can do something! I can curse! Yeah, we’re live around the world, you Mafia mark! Stop me now!
The crowd continues their loud boo as Nocturnal raises his arms proudly in the air as pyros explode behind him and his sister. He knows inside his twisted mind that their jeers can do nothing.
Emily reaches down and grabs a microphone and returns to the centre of the ring whilst waiting for the noise to die down. She looks at her watch and the camera picks up raising her eyebrow with disdain at the crowd.
Emily Koresh: We’ve not got all day. If you want to see a great match from my brother and a mediocre show from the rest of the roster you better shut the fuck up as I’ve got something to say.
The crowd’s boo even louder.
Emily shrugs her shoulders before bringing the microphone back up to her lips.
Emily Koresh: Clocks ticking. This is our time to talk, not yours and I will continue on.
She walks around the ring all the time her brother stands motionless in the corner.
Emily Koresh: First off I’m glad to be back in a NEW ring. And thanks to Jesse Styles I have a contract to entertain you in the squared circle. It is thanks to him that I am here to represent my brother Alex here.
She motions towards her brother as the crowds boo.
Emily Koresh: My brother surprised the world last week by coming out to this very ring and saved Jesse Styles from being beaten down by Ryan Pugh and his cronies. Some people have asked us why he would do that. Why would he save by the person that he has crusaded to destroy for the last three years? Well to be honest that’s none of your goddamn business. And here is this third world country you will get to witness them working together.
The crowds are getting extremely loud with their boos.
Emily Koresh: Tonight you will see my brother joining forces with the two men that have made his life a living hell. Johnny Stylez and Jesse Styles join forces with him in a six man tag match for the ages. They will face the two men that hold onto his tag championship belts, Pugh and Inkt as well as the man that has stolen my brother’s gimmick……Tha Joka.
When the words left her lips Nocturnal cocks his head to the side slightly.
Emily Koresh: In this very ring you will see them destroy Pugh and his buddies. This is sure to be bloody for all involved and fun should ensue. But for one man it will be an eye opener.
She turns and looks directly into the camera and smirks.
Emily Koresh: Joka, this is directed at you. You felt a mere portion of my brother’s wrath last week in Jersey. Have you got the balls to feel the full wrath of him? Yes, I’m putting it out there; Vodka and Violence, next NEW pay per view; my brother vs. you? You down for it?
She pauses for a split second.
Emily Koresh: Or are you too much of a pussy to do anything on your own?
She shrugs and throws the microphone down as her and her brother exit up the ramp way.
Vince Walters: Oh my God! Emily has called out Tha Joka for her brother.
Jill Matthews: Still can’t believe how disrespectful they were. This Koresh family needs to be taught a lesson or two.
