The crowd of people begin to grow rowdy, going wild, their cheers ascending to new heights as they fill the seats of the Windy City's N.E.W. Arena. Men and women of all ages, races, and creeds have packed into the stands in hopes to see their favorite competitors showcase their skills in the companies first event following the amazing World War X pay-per-view event in Germany. So far there's been a slew of outstanding matches, and even more are set to come, including the nights big main event match featuring Hunter Valentyne and Ray Andrews. In the ring now is NEW announcer Tom Davis.
Tom Davis: The following match is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Mother England! He is the frontman of the band deadAmbition, "The Royal Rockstar" Steve Thomas!
Steve Thomas: STOP!
The crowd goes near silent as out from the back, the "Royal Rockstar" himself steps out. His blond-dyed hair is wild and untamed and a zebra-print headband covers his forehead. He wears a torn, sleeveless, black mesh top with a black leather jacket over it. His hands are adorned with black biker gloves and he wears a pair of zebra-print tights with a black belt and boots. A microphone in hand, he steps out onto the stage and glares at the ring in an almost angry way. He points right at Tom Davis and begins to pace back and forth on the stage.
Steve Thomas: Didn't I JUST get done talking to you? Didn't we rehearse this? Do it right!
Tom Davis: (sighing) Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome to the ring, for your viewing pleasure, a man who needs no introduction. He hails from Mother England and is the frontman of the British Rock Hall of Fame winning band, deadAmbition! The reigning ACW Warfare Champion and the musical virtuoso himself. "The Royal Rockstar" Steve Thomas!
Smirking, Steve turns on the spot, facing away from the ring as he throws up his devil horns. He then begins to walk backwards down the ramp, arms spread out to the sides as "Take It Out On Me" by Bullet for my Valentine begins to blare over the arena's speaker system. The microphone remains clutched in his left hand as he makes his way down the ramp like that, turning as he nears the end. He then runs and slides into the ring, smirking as the crowd goes wild. He leaps up, climbs the turnbuckle, and throws the devil horns back up. He comes down and begins to look around as his theme quiets down, at which point he lifts his microphone back to his lips.
Steve Thomas: THAT's how you do an introduction! Now let's kick this fucking party into overdrive bitches!
The crowd continues to display their mixed reaction towards the rockstar as he stands there thrusting the devil horns into the air. The audience soon calms down, allowing the man to continue.
Steve Thomas: But, before we get this match underway, I have a little something to say. So Tommy, my main man, you're gonna have to hold up a bit and let me get this thing off my chest before you go bringing little Molly Mayhem into this bitch.
Tom Davis: (nods and exits the ring) Jackass.
Steve Thomas: (glares at Tom) Good, now that we've got that out of the way, I want to discuss something. As you can see, I do not have my Warfare Championship belt with me tonight. The reason for this is very clear to anyone with half a brain cell. You see, while I am certainly proud of being the eternally reigning Warfare Champion, I want some New Edge gold. I made my intentions known last week when I gave that southern hick bitch Dixie Clement a concussion to remember.
Steve points to the large screen above the entranceway as a video begins to play showing Steve coming out following the Youngblood Title match at World War X and brutally attacking new champion Dixie Clement. The clip replays the big clothesline three times before moving on, and as it ends, everyone returns their attention to a grinning Steve in the ring.
Steve Thomas: Now, I've got informants pretty much everywhere in this pit hole of a country, and I know for a fact that Dixie spent some time in a gym this week, training with Kronin. I personally don't see the point of this. She's training for a match she can't win? What is the point? Does she even realize who she's getting in the ring with? Roger Wright and Al Envy are one of the teams she has to face, and them alone are too much for little Dixie and her buddy Kronin to handle. Then there's Ryan Pugh and Johnny Stylez. So once again, another talented team that Dixie and Kronin have no chance against. Maybe they can defeat Deathstroke and Brian Hart, but that's a big maybe. So why did they decide to train for a match they should know that they will not win? That much is clear. They want to be ready to give it their all anyways. They want to entertain the fans and give them a great show. They want to send a message by fighting against insurmountable odds. In a way, I can even understand this.
Steve Thomas: So, we know that when it comes time for her to step into the ring with me, she'll be in that gym twenty four seven, trying so hard to train herself for a match she knows she will never win. Let's face it, her victory over her opponent at World War X was a fluke in the first place. She got lucky, but that can't help her fight someone like myself.
Steve Thomas: Unlike Kody Gordert, I am trained in many styles of martial arts, fought on the streets and in the cage for many years. I was trained by Dan Devine and Aaron Bomb, two of the biggest legends in this business. I spent time working with so many amazing legends besides them as well, too many to name right now. But I digress.
Steve Thomas: The point, Dixie, is that when you defend that belt against me, you will fall. Your title reign will have been revealed as a fluke and a farce as I take that belt from you, even if I need to cost you your career to do so. Now, enough about that pathetic retch Dixie. Tommy boy, get the fuck back in here and bring out my first victim!
