Tom Davis: First to the ring is Dark Angel!!!!
The lights dim and purple smoke streams over the stage as her music hit, and Angel steps out from backstage. She pauses for a few seconds, eyes scanning the crowd before heading down the ramp way, ignoring the crowds to each side of her. She slides under the bottom rope into the ring and stands before pacing around the mat and climbs the ropes to sit on a top turnbuckle, waiting
Tom Davis: And her opponent, Apathy!
The sound of a vintage picture reel began to click and pop, the screen illuminating up counting down like a picture show. The pops, scratches, nicks and debris covered the screen, the numbers counting down, 5...4....3....2....1....as the reel continued, the screaming sounds of Lizzy Hale tore through the arena and the melody and guitar began to pick up. On the screen, a barrage of action shots from Apathy's career, centred and fixated, like an old film would. As the arena went down, red and white lights bathing the fans in a sea of colour, Elizabeth emerged, arms held high, a smirk on her face, the boos chorusing from the rafters to the front row. Eyes closed, she sucked it all in, as the haunting sounds of "I Miss The Misery" filled the arena and surrounded her.]
##Ohhh, I miss the misery!
##I've been a mess since you stayed,
##I've been a wreck since you changed,
##Don't let me get in your way,
##I miss the lies and the pain,
##The fights that keep us awake-ake-ake
##I'm tellin you!
[She took her time down the ramp, egging on those who stood opposing her and spouting off insults of her own, laughing at the crowds and waving them off, dismissively. She rolled into the ring, and ran to the far corner, thrusting her fist into the air and sending a hand sign with her free hand, to her daughter at home.]
##I miss the bad things,
##The way you hate me,
##I miss the screaming,
##The way that you blame me!
##Miss the phone calls,
##When it's your fault,
##I miss the late nights,
##Don't miss you at all!
##I like the kick in the face,
##And the things you do to me!
##I love the way that it hurts!
##I don't miss you, I miss the misery!
[With the crowd throwing some debris in the ring, she hopped down the turnbuckle and ran to the other on the far side, again throwing her fists into the air, a smug, cocky, careless look on her face, taunting at the crowd, working them up.]
##Just know that I'll make you hurt,
##(I miss the lies and the pain what you did to me)
##When you tell me you'll make it worse
##(I'd rather fight all night than watch the TV)
##I hate that feelin inside
##You tell me how hard you'll try
##But when we're at our worst
##I miss the misery
As Apathy nears the ring, Dark Angel bounces off the ropes and dives over the top, attempting to take the woman down with a flying body press, instead, Apathy catches Dark Angel, and she smashes Dark Angel’s back right into the ring post to a huge pop from the crowd. Apathy picks up Dark Angel and she smashes her head off of the side of the ring apron. Apathy forcefully slides Dark Angel back into the ring, and she follows her, climbing over the ropes. She puts her coat in one of the corners before turning back to Dark Angel.
A groggy Dark Angel crawls towards the corner as Apathy slowly stalks her. Apathy reaches the corner, she grabs Dark Angel by her head, and she brings her towards the centre of the ring. Apathy kicks Dark Angel in the gut, and locks her in a front face lock. Apathy then takes Dark Angel up, and she plants her down with a vicious looking Crucifix Power bomb right in the middle of the ring. Apathy immediately goes for the cover.........1..........2........Dark Angel kicks out.
The crowd collectively groans, thinking that they were in store for a quick pin fall upset victory by Apathy.
Jill Matthews: Oh Dark Angel’s showing spirit?
Vince Walters: Apathy’s going to break her back.
Apathy shakes her head and picks up Dark Angel again. Apathy bounces off the ropes and she attempts to take Dark Angel down with a clothesline to the throat, Dark Angel ducks it, and she nails Apathy in the jaw with a super kick, which doesn't even faze her. Dark Angel cannot hide the shock on her face.
Vince Walters: It'll take more than that to take down Apathy.
Jill Matthews: Yeah, yeah, yeah Vince.
Dark Angel shakes the shock off of her face seemingly just before running at Apathy and nailing her in the jaw with a leaping forearm to the face. Dark Angel then pulls Apathy into the centre of the ring and attempts a T-Bone Suplex on her. After about four attempts to lift her Dark Angel stands back and holds her back.
Vince Walters: It seems as if she's strained her back.
Jill Matthews: She couldn't lift Apathy.
Apathy grabs hold of Dark Angel, lifting her above her head she starts press slams her. Apathy doesn’t go for the cover, instead she gets to her feet and immediately bounces off the ropes. She then drops a big boot across the chest of Dark Angel, winding her. Apathy does the same thing two more times, before finally going for the cover........1...........2...........Dark Angel somehow kicks out.
Apathy shakes her head and immediately picks up Dark Angel, wondering to herself what she has to do to put Dark Angel away. Apathy gets behind Dark Angel, and she gives her a high angle belly to back suplex, dropping Dark Angel recklessly on her neck. The impact from this manoeuvre causes the crowd to “OHHH” and “AHHH” as Dark Angel rolls over onto her stomach.
Apathy bounces off the ropes, just like she did a few moments earlier, and she drops a leg drop on the back of Dark Angel’s neck, before rolling the woman over, and hooking her leg in a lateral press......1..........2........Dark Angel barely manages to lift up her shoulder. Apathy gets up to her feet and becomes frustrated. She begins to stomp on Dark Angel’s chest and stomach mercilessly, much to the chagrin of the referee.
The referee makes Apathy back up to the opposite corner and wait for Dark Angel to get back to her feet. When Dark Angel does, Apathy runs at her. Dark Angel drops down and gives Apathy a drop toe hold, causing Apathy’s face to cross right down into the first turnbuckle!
Jill Matthews: She got her off her feet!!
Vince Walters: Dark Angel better follow that up.
With Apathy holding her face now, Dark Angel gets to her feet. Apathy also does the same with the help of the ropes beside the turnbuckle. Dark Angel runs up from behind Apathy and she drop kicks her in the back of the knee, causing the woman to buckle under her own weight. With Apathy on her knees, Dark Angel takes to forearming her hard in the back of the head while kneeing her in the back. Dark Angel backs away for a second, before running and drop kicking Apathy in the back of the head.
Apathy seeks refuge by sliding to the outside of the ring, and trying to shake the cobwebs loose. Dark Angel sees this, and climbs the top ropes and waits for Apathy to stand upright. When she does, Dark Angel leaps off the top ropes with a Spear, and takes down Apathy.
The referee shakes his head and goes to the outside of the ring and tries to wake up the wrestlers. When he sees that they aren’t stirring anywhere fast, he slides back into the ring, and begins his standard ten count.....1............2..........3...........4..............5
Just as the referee reaches five, Dark Angel lumps herself onto the apron and rolls into the ring. Apathy gets up with the aide of the ring barricade and the support of the crowd. Apathy rolls into the ring, right beside Dark Angel, and she puts her arm over her......1...........2............2.5 Shoulder up!!!!
Jill Matthews: Oww too close to call
Dark Angel immediately rolls to the centre of the ring, where she gets on her knees. Dark Angel then muscles herself to his feet. Apathy gets to her feet with the help of the ring ropes. The crowd cheers Apathy on as Dark Angel makes her way over to her. Apathy head butts Dark Angel unexpectedly to a HUGE pop from the crowd! Dark Angel staggers backwards, as Apathy bounces off the ropes and attempts a big boot. Dark Angel ducks it, and she nails Apathy in the jaw with a forearm, the woman moves back a few feet as Dark Angel bounces off the ropes for momentum, and she nails Apathy in the gut with a Spinning Heel Kick! Apathy then falls back into the ropes, with her arms being tied up in between the second and the third rope.
Jill Matthews: Oh this is good stuff.
Vince Walters: Nice.
Dark Angel charges at Apathy and dropkicks the defenceless woman in the jaw. She turns smiling and waving at the crowd.
The referee is trying to unhook Apathy from the ring ropes. A busted open Dark Angel tries to stand whilst waiting for Apathy to get lose. Apathy is now free and she grabs hold of the bloody Dark Angel. She hit’s her with swinging ddt.
Jill Matthews: Damn, Dark Angel's been flattened.
Apathy just lays one hand across the limp, bloody body of Dark Angel......1.........2.............3.
