Tom Davis: This match is a first blood match. The first man to bleed is deemed the loser. Our first contestant, making his way to the ring, weighing in at 265 pounds, He is The German Suplex Machine, KRRRRROOOOOOOONNNNIIIIIINNNNNNN
A couple quick spots of white noise is heard over the PA before ‘Bloodbound' by Hammerfall plays. The titan showing highlights of Kronin’s matches and Kronin marches out from the back, looking around the crowd and nodding, making his way to the ring every so often pausing to shake hands with fans and the like before climbing into the ring.
Tom Davis: And his opponent, from right here in St. Louis Missouri.
The crowd erupts.
Tom Davis: Weighing in at 218 pounds, KADEN KESSSSSSSSSLERRRRRRRRRR
Vince Walters: This should be an interesting match.
Jill Matthews: Kronin definitely has the size advantage.
Vince Walters: Don’t count Kaden out though, this match from my understanding is right in his wheelhouse, and he is relatively unknown around NEW. He may pull out some tricks for us.
The bell rings DING DING DING
Kessler moves in right away, ducking under a grapple attempt by Kronin, and kneeing him in the midsection, doubling Kronin over just enough for Kaden to grab him by the hair, and slam him face first into the mat. The ref signals for Kaden to watch the hair, but Kaden just shrugs him off, crouching over Kronin and punching the side of his head with heavy lefts and rights, alternating like a bell. Kronin plants his hands on the mat, pulling himself to his feet as Kessler continues to punch. Kronin gets to a vertical base, and drops backwards, slamming his whole weight down on top of Kaden, who lands back first into the mat.
Vince Walters: It looks like Kaden Kessler is trying to soften up that head of Kronin’s.
Jill Matthews: He’s going to have to hit a lot harder than that. Kronin has a pretty big head.
Vince Walters: Wait, so you know what his looks like too? Is there not a man here you haven’t fucked?
Jill Matthews: NOT THAT HEAD YOU PERVERT!
Kronin gets up, grabbing the foot of Kaden, and rolling him over into a half crab. Kaden slams on the mat in pain, punching it hard, trying to fight through. Kronin wrenches harder, sending Kaden to arch his back attempting to ease the pain as much as possible, and crawling for the ropes. Finally Kronin stands up, lifting Kessler by the leg, and slamming him knee first into the mat. Kaden hits hard, rolling to his back in pain. Kronin climbs on top and begins raining down punches into the face of Kessler. Kaden puts his hands up to protect his face, knowing that a well placed punch could break his nose and end the match instantly. Finally when he sees an opening, Kaden reaches up, pulling Kronin’s head down towards his, and headbutts Kronin in the face, shaking Kronin just enough to kick him off, and work his way to his feet. Kaden gets up, as does Kronin, both men shaking the cranial impact off.
Jill Matthews: It seems both men have the same plan, soften up the skin around the head, and work that until someone bleeds.
Vince Walters: The only other logical thing to do would be to bring a knife, but I feel like that would be deemed illegal in at least 48 states.
Jill Matthews: Why not 50?
Vince Walters: Because Wisconsin and Texas are fucked up, so I assume they’re ok with stabbing.
Jill Matthews: The comments made by my partner are his own, and are not those of New Edge Wrestling.
Kessler moves in, locking up with Kronin. Kronin out muscles Kaden, and locks him up for a suplex, but Kaden slips out of it, landing behind Kronin, and hitting him with a very sound belly to back suplex, slamming Kronin face first into the mat. Kaden grabs a handful of Kronin’s hair, pulling him to his feet, and throws him into the ropes. Kronin rebounds, as Kessler drops down under the feet of the running Kronin, hopping back to his feet as he passes. Kronin hits the opposite rope and Kessler is immediately there to hit him with a nasty superkick to the jaw, sending Kronin over the top rope.
Vince Walters: I’m shocked that Kronin didn’t break open from that kick. You could hear the impact all the way at the top of the gateway arch.
Kessler climbs through the ropes, and jumps down, driving his knee into the midsection of Kronin. Kessler gets up, and grabs a chair. Me moves back over to Kronin, and slams the chair hard into the midsection of Kronin. Kronin crumples in pain, and Kessler hits him in the head with the chair. Kronin rolls around in pain, as Kessler slams the chair again this time into the back of Kronin’s head. Kronin covers up, avoiding any more dangerous chair shots, and Kessler hits him in the back. Kronin arches in pain, rolling again. Kessler raises the chair over his head, and Kronin kicks up, hitting Kaden in the knee. Kaden drops down to one knee, and works his way back up, but Kronin kicks the knee again. Kaden drops to his knee as Kronin reaches up, pulling Kaden down, and issuing a monkey flip, sending Kaden into the side of the ring. Kronin gets up to his feet, as Kaden rolls on the floor.
Jill Matthews: Very aware move by the veteran Kronin. He knew he wouldn’t be able to get up in time to avoid another chair shot, so he kicked instead, and then created separation.
Kronin moves over to Kaden who is still on the mat, and picks him up, throwing him into the barricade, following right behind him, and laying a knee into the midsection. Kronin then throws Kaden shoulder first into the ring steps. The steps fall off their base. Kronin throws the top half to the side, and picks Kessler up. He grabs Kessler, and hits him with a hard DDT over the steps. Kaden holds his head, as he rolls off the steps, barely moving. Kronin is slow to get up, as his back hit those steps with force. Finally Kronin gets to his feet, and walks towards the announce table.
Vince Walters: What are you doing? There is nothing here for you.
Kronin grabs one of the headsets off the table, and rips the cord out of the jack. He walks back to Kessler, whipping him across the back and head with the headset, before wrapping the cord around the neck of Kaden. He pulls tight, choking Kaden, before locking the arm, and hitting him with a head and arm suplex, slamming the head of Kaden into the mat. Kronin picks Kaden up with the cord, and again hits him with a head and arm suplex. Kronin picks him up again, but Kaden grabs Kronin’s head and drops down, hitting him with a stunner. Kronin falls backwards, slamming to the floor. Kaden pulls the cord from his neck, and whips Kronin with the cord. Hitting him over and over again. Kaden picks Kronin up, and drops him hard gut first over the barricade.
Jill Matthews: Kronin is in a bad way here, Kaden looks like he’s in the drivers seat.
Kaden runs at Kronin, and lifts his knee into the head of Kronin, knocking him off the barricade. Kaden begins stomping on the head of Kronin. Dropping boot after boot into the chest of Kronin. Kaden Kessler picks up the chair, and slams it into the head of Kronin, over and over. The chair breaks down, unusable, and Kaden tosses the chair aside. He picks Kronin up and throws him into the ring. Kaden climbs into the ring, he moves towards the corner, and pulls the turnbuckle pad off. Kronin slowly works his way to his feet. Kaden walks over to Kronin, and throws him towards the corner with the exposed turnbuckle. Kronin stops fast. Kaden run towards Kronin. Kronin stops Kaden with a knee to the midsection. Kronin wraps Kaden around the waist and German suplexes him into the corner. Kaden’s head bounces off the exposed turnbuckle. Kaden falls to the mat in a slump, holding his head. He pulls his hand away, bleeding terribly from the back of his head.
DING!!!
DING!!!
Tom Davis: Your winner, KRONNNNNNNIIIIIIINNNNNNN
Vince Walters: That was a brutal match, I thought for sure Kaden had it, but Kronin, being the veteran that he is was aware of his surroundings, and he pulled the win out in the end.
Jill Matthews: Kaden is up to something though.
As the ref holds Kronin’s hand up, Kaden crawls over behind Kronin, gets to his knees and slams a fist straight up, hitting Kronin with a low blow!!!!! Kronin crumples over in a pile, as Kaden rolls out of the ring, walking away with a big smile across his face.
