Brandy Davis: Ladies and Gentlemen, the next match is set for one fall and it is a first round tournament match for the XCore Title! Introducing first, hailing from Portland, Oregon. He stands 6 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs in at 240lbs. He is SCOTT DRAVEN!!!”
The lights dim to Black. Spotlights begin to flicker on the entrance ramp. "Broken Dreams" begins to blare over the PA System as Scott appears at the top of the ramp with his arms raised. He slowly walks down the ramp with a smirk on his face as he looks at some fans and ignores them. He runs into the ring and makes an X with his arms as he turns around....
Clark Benson: “Here we have Scott Draven, looking to make a name for himself and capitalize on the opportunity this tournament will be providing to him and others on the Lights Out brand.”
Lilly: “Early reports look good on Draven and you’re right about the opportunity. TV and Xcore Titles need to be filled and tonight Draven has a chance to move one step closer to becoming XCore Champion.”
Brandy Davis: “And introducing his opponent, hailing from Death Valley, he stands 6 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs in at 310lbs. He is JAKOB MAYHEM!!!”
The first strains of the music begins to play as the lights begin to strobe across the arena. Slowly a figure emerges from a sudden burst of smoke. Long leather coat with hood over the head, he walks slowly to the ring with no care of the fans. He enters the ring and removes the long coat and stands in leather pants, boots and with his head down so his long hair hides his face.
Clark Benson: “And now we have Scott Draven’s opponent, making his big debut in NEW, Jakob Mayhem Mayhem definitely has size advantage here and, given that you have been in a wrestling ring before, how does that change things for Draven do you think, or any fighter who has to contend with a bigger opponent?”
Lilly: “Well, Mayhem, if he sticks to the trend most big guys do, will rely on power, so the best way to counter that is to use speed and also, in a match like this where weapons can be used, that can also be used to help level the playing field.”
The bell rings and the two fighters in the ring start off slow, circling around each other but Draven wastes no time, ducking under an attempted clothesline from Mayhem and brings the bigger man to the mat with a reverse neckbreaker. Draven jumps up to his feet and nails Mayhem with a few elbow drops and slides out of the ring, reaching under the ring and grabbing for a weapon pausing for a moment as Mayhem grabs him by the head and slams a couple of big right hands into his head. A third right hand slams into a steel chair and Draven wastes no time, swinging the chair and hitting Mayhem in the head, knocking him back into the ring and re-entering the ring setting the chair down, dragging Mayhem to his feet and trying for a DDT but Jakob Mayhem blocks it and counters it by lifting Scott Draven up into the air and dropping him onto the chair with a brainbuster. He goes for the cover

Scott Draven kicks out!!!
Clark Benson: “These two didn’t waste time in bringing weapons into play, here tonight and what a brutal brainbuster! One will have to question whether or not Scott Draven can continue after that!”
Lilly: “He had enough to kick out and while he definitely looks stunned, I think he’ll get his bearings back soon and get back on the attack.”
Jakob Mayhem pulls Draven to his feet and plants the man with a powerbomb on the chair, causing Draven to arch his back, crying out in pain as he writhes in pain. Jakob Mayhem moves over to the ring ropes and exits the ring, reaching under the ring and dragging out a table and setting it up on the floor outside the ring before going back into the ring and dragging Scott Draven to his feet. Draven attempts to fight back with punches to the gut and head, but Jakob fires back with punches of his own and a big head butt before picking up Draven as if to go for a powerbomb and charging to the ropes, trying to powerbomb through the table to the floor but Draven counters the move into a hurrancanrana, landing on the apron as Mayhem crashes through the table, landing in a heap on the floor.
Clark Benson: “Oh My God!!! that move could have killed Mayhem!!!”
Lilly: “And like I said, sometimes the best answer for facing a big power fighter is to counter with speed and Scott Draven was able to catch Jakob Mayhem napping there and is definitely in control of this match!”
Scott Draven gets to his feet and climbs into the ring and waits as Jakob Mayhem slowly stirs and gets to his feet, turning to the ring just in time to watch Scott Draven springboard off the ropes and hit Mayhem with a flying forearm smash, sending both men to the floor, Draven draping an arm over Jakob Mayhem and the ref makes the count

Jakob Mayhem kicks out!!
Clark Benson: “Another amazing move there by Scott Draven, but perhaps waiting too long for Mayhem to get up to hit the move cost Draven the win there.”
Lilly: “Yeah, probably a miscalculation on Scott Draven’s part. He should have gone for the win
Both men fight to their feet and exchange punches right out in front of the fans before Jackob goes low with a kick to the groin and bounces Scott Draven’s head off the guardrail before lifting the man up and dropping him down stomach first on the guardrail before pulling him off and trying to whip him into the steel steps but Draven counters, sending Jakob Mayhem into the steel steps and charging in after him, hitting him with a dropkick pushing the downed man into the steel steps again.
Clark Benson: “Well, while not the most brutal Xcore match we’ve had in our history, these two young talents are certainly showing why Kronin drafted them.”
Lilly: “Well duh, Kronin does know what the hell he’s doing, despite the insistence of certain, ungrateful people whose egos are bigger than their talent levels, would insist.”
Draven drags Mayhem to his feet and the two exchange punches but this time Draven goes low, planting a knee to the gut and jumping up, hitting Jakob Mayhem with his variation of the Codebreaker, going into the cover.
