(OOC Note: Hopefully the coding I use works well with these forums since I can't check too much since I'm posting off my phone.)

**As the plane pulled in I let out a sigh, I should be used to flights since I do go from the states to England and back several times a year but I still find myself uneasy in being in a giant canister cutting through the air. I reach down for my carry on bag, a white Nike one that is my go to bag. I normally keep a few snacks, a drink and a few extra toiletries in there. Not to mention a back up set of trunks and boots just in case my checked bag gets lost in the shuffle between airports.**
**I wait patiently for a few rows to clear out before I head out to leave. But as I stand up a mom and her son who couldn't have been more than eight years old come up to me, they ask for a quick photo and despite feeling slightly jet lagged, who am I to say no? As I leave the plane and head into the airport I start to notice a large grouping of pink balloons over the crowd's head in the slight distance. The closer I get the better a view I get of the person holding the balloon bouquet. A very attractive girl with red streaks running through her blond hair. A bright smile covers her face and it causes a smile to come to mine as it could only be Emery Harrison. I walk up to her and give her a hug that accidentally pops on of the balloons which startled her and made her make a face that caused a smile to come to my face.*
*It was nice to meet her in person, sure we joked around on Twitter, talked on the phone and texted to the point that I felt like I really knew her but this was the first time I felt her when we hugged. It was a feeling that I wouldn't mind getting to feel more often honestly. But then something came over me and it hit hard. All the thoughts and feelings I felt over the past few months for Ahayla Patel hit me like a gut shot. Thinking of her made me smile but at the same time I felt guilty being here with Emery. I shouldn't feel any guilt, Emery and I were only friends and Ahayla and I weren't dating or anything like that, in my mind I was single. Yet part of me couldn't help feeling a sour feeling in the pit of my stomach. I tried my best to play it off but Emery noticed and asked how I was feeling. I told her it must have been the flight or something I ate. I could tell she didn't fully believe me but went along with it. We started out of the airport as she told me about this great place to eat that she wanted to go with me to. I tired my best to seem interested but all I wanted at that time was to call or text Ahayla to see what she was doing or just to hear her voice.*

::The sounds of a muffled microphone and slight clicking is heard. Suddenly a rush of light floods the camera's lens, causing the focus to fluctuate back and forth trying to find its correct spot. Finally it finds the best setting and we see Tyson Gregory's smiling face just behind a steering wheel. Behind him other cars and trees in the landscape are zooming by. He reaches up and adjusts the handi-cam a bit before setting it where he wants it.::
Tyson Gregory: "This is something that I haven't had the chance to experience in a while. The long drive from one state to the other. Normally, I just fly into whatever town I am set to compete in and take a cab or something to get me where I need to go but I spent the last few days visiting friends in Miami and figured that driving to my hotel in DC would be much simpler and give me more time to think things out than just flying in. I also figured that if I'm out here, I might as well hit up some New Edge Wrestling thoughts while I'm at it."
::A smirk comes across Tyson's face.::
Tyson Gregory: "You know every place I have been I have made a name and craved it into the roster of the company. Seth Lawless knew about it, Jimmy Abel knew about it and as soon as rumor hit that I would be attending a NEW event. That's all it took for those two to pack their bags and kick rocks on the way out. I have that kind of history to myself. I'm not one that really does what is expected. I come off a bit of a loose cannon that takes up his own path. I leave behind a good share of collateral damage in my wake. The funny thing is I've only been a professional in this wrestling business for about a year or two as yet, I already have a credible name, so much so that NEW would hand me a live microphone in the middle of the ring, during a huge show in Madison Square Garden and not clear with anyone my intentions. That's what having me on the roster means to the suits of NEW. They gave a relatively new comer to the business, the keys to the house. That speaks loudly for what I bring. But honestly, I'm unsure if this is NEW's way of trying to bring the talent up to my level or for me to clear through the wannabes and never will bes. I'm going to go through this roster like a wildfire and it'll be interesting to see who thrives and who gets burnt."
"Every company that I've been in, I have had the honor and privilege to work with some of the top names in the industry as far as tag teams or groups. In fact, every company I have been in so far, I have won and held tag team gold. With NEW, it's a different story. I'm not looking for a partner or someone to have my back. The only thing I have eyes on is that NEW World Heavyweight Championship that currently is on Austen Impact. Granted I don't think I should get a title shot right out of the gate. I'm a reasonable man, I'm willing to wait a bit while I cut a variety of so called competitors off at the knees. Just know this though, the longer I am made to wait, the more vicious I will become. Look, I'm not one to make idle threats that I don't ever follow through with. I'm the type that when I say I'm going to do something, I am going to do it. I really don't care if this puts a target on me of a price on my head, I really don't. I'm going to do what I do and break people's mind, body and soul and continue on my climb to the top."
::A slight laugh escapes him as he continues driving.::
Tyson Gregory: "It all starts with you Jared Mercer. You are my genesis here in New Edge. How fitting it is as well that we get to raise the curtain and set the entire tone for the night. You see, I know I belong in the spotlight, I know I am greatness. And while New Edge doesn't have me headlining my first event, I only have you to blame Jared. You're a music guy, so you'll get this analogy, you can't have a world class guitarist and stick him with some crappy vocalist and expect sold out shows. What I am trying to say is that I'm going to have to carry you on my back, much like the Jesus footprints in the sand poster, through this match to make the fans even think it was worth paying to see. Now, I don't mind doing that, I'm a nice guy after all. I have no problem taking you out of the gutter you are in right now and dragging you kicking and screaming into the spotlight before I drop you on your head and kick you back to mediocrity land."
"We are just on two different paths right now Jared. Me? I'm a talent that any company would love to have signed to their roster. People pay their hard earned money just to boo me. Most people won't spend money to see a show or concert of a band they don't enjoy but they will buy tickets just to sit on the edge of their seats and boo and heckle me while I break and bleed out their favorite wrestlers. The best part is I don't give a shit if they do that or not. I honestly don't give a shit what the fans do or say or whatever. You might. But then again... I'll admit that I don't know much about you. Other than somewhere you were a decent wrestler in some land far beyond Oz. Oh and that you are in some garbage garage band that has the best all time selling record in car wash history. And maybe I heard you have family in wrestling too and some are here in New Edge. To be honest, all that shit is kind of boring to me."
::He shrugs his shoulders a bit and shakes his head.::
Tyson Gregory: "Even if you were some champion in a company long forgotten, and that's a big if, that doesn't really translate well into New Edge Wrestling. I mean, sure I could take this handy dandy camera here and show you the championship title belt laying down in my passenger seat but why do that? Why would I need to show you a championship from another company that at best is only just an affiliate of New Edge? I had my eye on this company since I was first approached about that whole big interpromotional deal they are working on and it's funny how the name Jared Mercer never came up on the people making waves. Hell, even your family members barely were blimps on my radar and that's saying something since I am one to hardly ever leave a stone unturned. This is my just being real with you Mercer... You should just stick to the music industry."
"Even then I don't know if that's something to be proud of. Can I turn on this car's radio and find any station that plays whatever noise you and your band mates call music? Probably not right? What did you go and do some kind of hold up like the movie Airheads to get recording time? Or are you on of those rich phonies that uses money from whatever else and just Rebeca Black's it? It's like everyone you know anymore has some mixtape or demo they want you to listen to. Me? My mixtape, my demo is in the ring. While you split your focus on music and wrestling, my focus is on wrestling... Period. Does that make me better than you? No of course not. We don't have time actually for me to list all the things that make me better than you. But don't worry Jared... After our match, you can be a trivial pursuit answer to the question of 'What has been wrestler and never was musician was Tyson Gregory's first official victory in New Edge Wrestling.'"
::Tyson smirks a bit as he reaches up and turns off the handicam leaving nothing but dark silence.::
