NOTE: This roleplay is short and not very good. TBH, I have had trouble writing this week due to being sick as well as busy. I am sorry for the poor quality of this roleplay, but it was kind of rushed and well, honestly just sucks. Sorry.
This roleplay isbrought to you by iTunes, the official sponsor of Steve Thomas.<o:p></o:p>

"Being a rockstar is the intersection of who you are and who you wantto be."
- Slash of Guns N Roses
So she won; Miss Molly Mayhem managed to do it. Pulling off theupset of the night, the self-proclaimed "Most Controversial Female"defeated a much more talented wrestler than herself. Against all the odds, shedid it. Congratulations Molly on defeating me...through dirty, underhandedtactics. You're not a true wrestler Molly, you're a coward, a bloody fuckingcoward! You know you had no chance of defeating me cleanly. You know that Iwould've taken you down. So what did you do? You waited. Took your sweet oldtime and when I turned my back, you hit me from behind. An act of pure, unadulterated cowardice, nothing else. Some may disagree, calling you anopportunist and saying that your strategy was flawless. But there are thosewith intelligence; those who recognize underhanded methods. We know that youdidn't deserve that victory.
ButI digress, for you are simply not worth my precious time. You were but astepping stone on my climb to the top, and I more than proved my talent againstyou. You are an insult to professional wrestlers the world over, and this week, well, this week shall be different. I am above underhanded tactics, and I shallonce more prove it to the world. We move from Chicago, Illinois to Cincinnati,Ohio. Yeah, from one pathetic venue to another. New Edge Wrestling has forsakenmemorable locations for the pit-stains of America. So, in order to retain somesemblance of sanity, I shall not stay in Cincy...wow, what a pathetic-assnickname. No, I shall go to a city that rocks! I will instead stay inCleveland! The land of rock n roll!
AlanFreed, the very man who coined the term "rock n roll" was from theRock N Roll Capitol of the World. Cleveland embraced rock music before manyother locations, and has birthed some of the greatest rock artists, such as TheBlack Keys, Devo, and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Cleveland is where rock n roll belongs, and so it's where I belong. Of course, the powers that be don't seem to careabout where the business demands we should be. They don't consider anything.Hell, those fucktards even pitted me against a shit like Ray Andrews? Who isthis motherfucker? He's held pretty much every championship in UCW, a title inDWF, one in GWN, and a couple in NEW. Well, besides New Edge, none ofthese aforementioned companies had the popularity to even shine myshoes. They failed, and to be a champion in them is to fail as well. But thenthere's NEW, a company that actually matters. I question though what he wonhere. The Golden Contract Briefcase, tag team titles, and X-Core title.
Sobasically, what we have is a man who had a worthless piece of plastic with acontract for a match he didn't truly earn, a tag team title reign that insultedthe titles and all those who have held them, and on top of it all, he recentlyheld the X-Core Championship, a belt he has tarnished and ruined thecredibility of. However, one man has already begun to bring the belt back tolife. A proud Englishman from Middlesbrough. He has talent, unlike theself-proclaimed "King of Pain." This guy is seriously a waste of mytime, and when he steps into the ring with me, well, let's just say that hewon't step out in the same condition. This is the era of rock n roll, and all better remember that; especially you Ray Andrews. You act like the next big thing in New Edge Wrestling, but I live it. I am the biggest thing this companies seen in a long time, and none shall come after with the greatness that I hold. None can emulate the Royal Rockstar.
Today I pay tribute to the greats as I step through the doors of the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame, a milestone I one day am guaranteed to reach. I pass through it's halls, looking at the greats who have made music worthwhile; Guns N Roses, Genesis, REM, Van Halen, Lynyrd Skynyrd, U2, Bob Seger, ZZ Top, The Police, The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Led Zeppelin, and many more. This year we'll even be welcoming the greats Rush and Heart into the Hall. Overall, it's been a great day. With me in Cleveland are my band, for we've begun to book our concerts in tandem with the schedule of New Edge Wrestling events. This week we do a two night event in Cleveland to promote the upcoming Rock N Roll Hall of Fame class. We'll be performing many hit songs from Rush, Heart, and the others being inducted. It's our way of paying tribute to those who made it all possible.
"So, what next?" Arrietty, my sister, asks as we step back into our room at the Double Tree Hilton. I pass into the living area of the suite, pulling out a beer from the mini-fridge as I pass it by. It is not that I'm ignoring her question, but rather, I am deep in thought right now, wondering about whether or not coming to New Edge Wrestling was a good idea. To be honest, with the rushing release of deadAmbition's upcoming album, I've found little time to focus myself on my competition. While I know my skill far surpass those of my oppositions, I feel as if I am letting my fans down unless I compete at my best.
"Hello, Earth to Steve," she calls out to me, knocking on the top of my head mockingly.
"Oh, you were saying something?" I ask, genuinely confused at this point. My mind has too much to focus on, and it's starting to show. She repeats her question and stares at me inquisitively.
"Um, I don't know. I had nothing else planned for today besides watching some footage of Ray Andrews' matches. I have to be somewhat prepared for my match. Otherwise an untalented piece of trash will defeat me again," I reply as I take a seat. She stares at me for a moment, but nods slightly before taking a seat beside me.
I turn on the television, which already has the dvd of Ray's "greatest matches" already in it. The two of us sit back and begin to watch. All this week I've had it good. Great city, good food, amazing company. Nothing could be better than this. Well, except maybe defeating Andrews this week at Initiative. But that's a certainty anyways. Rock N Roll rules this world, and in the sport of professional wrestling, I am the King. I am the essence of real music, and the master of my craft. I am practiced in many martial arts, and am prepared to take on anyone. Ray, this week you step into the ring with a true athlete. It'll be something new for you I guess. You'll finally know what a real wrestler looks like. See you this week.
For those about to rock...we salute you.<o:p></o:p>
