Ocean madly flips through a large book with brownish pages as he mumbles words from an unknown language under his breath. Suddenly, with one mighty swipe from his large forearm he sends the book and other loose papers off wooden table top into the stone floor. He growls as he runs his large hand through his grown out black hair, “My current ability isn’t adequate for this level of competition here in NEW. I need to achieve high level of enlightenment if I wish to achieve my goals and dreams.” Ocean places his hands in front of himself as he continued. “Maybe this form is holding me back from my true potential like they told me I could achieve if I allowed the hatred in. Kindness will only get in the way of progress in this business. If you want something you need to go and take it.” Ocean smiles as he closes his hands into fists. “Like I am going to do this week against Molly and Valora and I will take my spot at the Terror Dome Match! Even if I have to make those little bitches shred some tears of disappointment. I will be in the Terror Dome and I will not take a denial as an answer.”
Ocean grabs his grey wool designer coat off the back of wooden chair and says as shoves his arms into the sleeves, “Let’s go Mr. Cluck, we need to get something for my redemption match to get into the hell zone they call the Terror Dome.”
Small yellow chick that is the size of someone’s hand hops up onto wooden table that was once filled with the book and loose papers. In the chick’s beak is a piece of folded paper. Ocean takes the folded paper from Mr. Cluck and softly patted him on his head. “Did you find something for me or did finally learned how to write with a pen?”
Ocean unfolded the paper and quickly read what was on it. Ocean’s face twisted in disgust as he dug out a lighter from his coat pocket. He says with a sigh as he lights the piece paper on fire before throwing it into a nearby fire pit. “I guess I wasn’t planning on doing anything productive today anyways.”
Ocean scopes up Mr. Cluck up off the table and sets him up on his right shoulder before leaving the aging laboratory. He whispers as he slowly closes the large metal door behind him. “I will prove to those non-believers that I do belong here in NEW. I will show them why they should be afraid of The Riptide, Orlando Ocean.”
Ocean finishes up securing up his aging laboratory entrance and heads in the direction to his vehicle that was parked off one of the many dirt roads that crisscross throughout the large forest. After couple minutes of hiking through the forest he locates his vehicle. As Ocean heads closer to the vehicle a figure slides off the hood and stands next the vehicle. “Before you start yelling at me for not informing you about my little meeting with her-” Ocean begins to say as he gets closer to the figure.
“I don’t care what your excuse is, brother.” Creeker snaps as he grabs Ocean by the front of his coat with both of his hands. “Don’t you even dare say that you were trying protecting me from her evil ways. She didn’t attempt to turn the world into her own personal play land like a curtain person that I know.”
Ocean didn’t inform Creeker about his little meeting with Renae because he known this was going be his reaction to it. Ocean quickly knocks Creeker’s hands off his coat, “Listen brother, if I told you that I had a meeting with her. You would have demanded that I told you were she went. The issue is that I don’t know where she escaped to. I didn’t even make that meeting, she did. She was trying to warn me about things that are going to happen. Majority of the things she told were useless and pointless for me.”
Creeker stares intently at his brother and finally says weakly, “Did she look happy?”
Ocean softly grabbed his brother shoulder, “She looked great and she seemed to enjoying whatever evil thing she is doing.” Ocean says as slowly shook his head. “She didn’t ask how you were doing, if you were wondering.”
Creeker looks down at the dirt, “oh”
“Anyways, I hope you didn’t travel all the way out here just to yell and not mention about that meeting. What truly brought you out here in these back woods, Brother?” Ocean says as slowly removes his hand from his Brother shoulder.
Creeker says as he opens Ocean’s driver side door and steps in, “Get into the vehicle, brother. We’re taking a trip to Pittsburgh. This trip is going be a good educational experience for you. You will learn little more about what Shredder did with your body during his reign of terror.”
Ocean with little choice enters the passenger side door of his own vehicle. He says as he closes the door, “Will this aid me against Valor and Molly?”
Creeker smiles as he turns the vehicle on
The Next Day
“Tell me again why I allowed you drive?” Ocean says as he slams his door shut. “A woman driver would have been better drive than you, Creeker. You drive like an old man on those roads. Who drives the exactly on the speed limit anymore? We got passed by an old woman and I think there was suited up moped that passed us too.”
Creeker sighs as he slowly closest the driver side door, “We’re not in a war zone, Ocean. We don’t need to drive like we’re expecting an ambush or something. We’re in the United States and the worst thing that could happen to us would be if we get rear ended.”
Ocean asks as he scratches Mr. Cluck on top of his head, “This place doesn’t look familiar to me at all, Creeker. Did something important happen here? This place seems ordinary to any abandon buildings that I have explored throughout my life.”
Creeker strolls to the back of the building as Ocean follows next him. Creeker mentions, “This place doesn’t bring back any memories? Well, I thought seeing this place would bring back wave of memory when he first took over.”
“Creeker, I really don’t have time to take a trip down memory lane or attempt to get some the missing years back.” Ocean says as Creeker pushes open a back door and enters.” Do we really have to go in there?”
Creeker sticks his hand out toward his brother and motions Ocean in with his pointer finger. As Ocean enters the building, the lights slowly flickered on with each step he took in. Creeker standing with hands into his jeans pockets next to a large hole in the concrete floor. He says, “I brought you here because I know you have horrible control when it comes against woman. Since your redemption match for your last chance at Terror Dome deals with two women. I wanted to show you want happen the last time some woman prevent you from getting what you wanted.”
“A hole in the floor” Ocean asks “So, I made a hole in the concrete because some female made Shredder angry. This doesn’t help my case against Molly or Valora. Both of them seems little unstable like any other female in the population.”
Creeker removes his right hand out of his pocket and in his hand is a device with a button. As he presses the button all of the remaining lights turn on in the room to reveal a ten foot circle around where Creeker is standing is made of thick glass. In the dark the glass seemed like it was concrete but in the proper lighting you could tell the difference between concrete and glass.
Ocean asks completely stun as he walks onto the glass and looks down into the darkness beneath, “What did he do here? How deep does this crater go because even with all of this light in this room I can’t see the bottom?”
“After Mr. Rivers reunited the two of us and after we calm down from beating the living shit out of each other. He sent us out here to pick up a package from an elderly woman. After she refused to give up her package to us and claimed you as a demon. You open a controlled explosion right underneath her with a gas line that was underneath this building at one time.” Creeker says slowly pacing back and forth. “To this day, I don’t know what I hated more about that day. The fact that you openly shown me your ability for the first time or the fucking fact that you murdered an old person in front of me! You just stood there in front of the flame and laughed like you heard a hilarious joke.”
Ocean pleads, “John, that wasn’t me back then! That was Shredder that killed the woman. I may injure some people but, I can’t kill anymore because that will go against my nature. For this match against the Mexican and Molly, I won’t be able to summon this fireball of doom like Shr-”
“Like you did” Creeker corrected his brother
“Shredder is able to manipulate the reality around him. I, your brother don’t have the luxury like he does. I can make unique compounds in my experiments in my lab and that takes time.” Ocean adds “I’m trying to learn to be a person for the first time in my life. I’m free of Shredder’s control and I can finally be normal like everyone else.”
Creeker slowly shook his head, “You can never be normal, Ocean. Your demon buddy made too many enemies. Shredder’s enemies don’t care if you not be controlled by him and will try to kill for past actions that were committed in that body.”
“Bad decisions in the past cannot be erased by good behavior is what you’re saying?” Ocean says as he bends down and taps the glass with his fingers. “Deeds cannot be washed away but, the pain can dull by helping improve the relationships in the future. Unlike my opponents, I know how change and survive in this business. They attempt to be the same cookie cutter personality that can be seen in every wrestling federation.”
Creeker asks “What do you mean, Ocean? Molly and Valora are not the normal insane person or Mexican that roams the halls in a wrestling federation.”
“Molly maybe a former champion but, she only knows how to cause pain and regret. She doesn’t know how to give away happiness to those around her. She only takes and never gives back. She is selfness to the point where it seems to drive her to point of going insane. She is insane for the chance to inflict pain and take power from those who are weaker. This will cause her downfall in the end game of things.” Ocean says as he slowly stands up and softly scratches Mr. Cluck under the beck. “Valora is angry for the fact that she isn’t champion right now. She’s a bitter bitch about being screwed over by Nocturnal. So, she and I have something in common. Our equal hatred for Nocturnal is the only thing we have in common.”
“Ocean, I know you’re going get frustrated in this match against this two great wrestler. All I ask is don’t do anything you will regret later.” Creeker says with a hint of concern. “Even thou Shredder isn’t the one in control, you’re a big monster and your face two brittle women. All ask is from you is that you don’t break them to server.”
Ocean says with a tooth grin, “You missed what I did to Omega when he fucked me over on my first attempt into the terror dome. If I truly had the ability to choice the outcome of this match, these bitches would be need to scrape off the mat by a shovel by the time I’m done with them. I will win, I will have the power, and I will evolve.
