Lost vs Virus
Tom Davis: Ladies and Gentlemen, the next match is set for one fall.. Introducing first. Hailing from parts unknown, standing 6 feet tall, and weighing in at 236lbs. He is the VIRUS!!!”
The lights in the arena cut out, leaving the audience in complete silence, as they all are engulfed in complete darkness. Fast pace guitar riffs and drum beats begin to blare out of the speakers, as the singer of The Bronx, begins to sing to “History’s Stranglers!” After about
forty five seconds, he screams, “I want your Blood!” as Red and Purple Pyros
erupt from the stage and all four of the turnbuckles, the lights then cut back
on. A figure begins to drop from the rafters, the man is none other than The
Virus, he is in his custom mask, trench coat, fedora, dessert mar pat cargo
pants, black combat boots, and a black t-shirt. In his right hand is a black
wooden baseball bat with nails laced through the top. As he lands in the ring,
he unclips his zip line and begins circling around the ring while slowly
undressing down in to his wrestling attire, his cargo pants, boots, and his
signature mask. Half of the audience attending the stands is screaming in
excitement and the other half either silent or booing. The Virus then begins
stretching and preparing for the bell to ring
Jill Matthews: Here comes the holder of the Golden Contract, the Virus. Also, taking the place of Vince Walters... Manager of Kronin LILLY!”
Lilly: “Thanks, Jill. Glad to help out . This should be a great matchup.”
Tom Davis: “And introducing his opponent. Hailing from Salt Lake City, Utah. Standing 6 feet, 6 inches tall and weighing in at 255lbs. LOST IN TIME!!!”
The beginning of 10 Years "Actions and Motives"
begins to bellow forth. The stage lights flicker to a fluorescent blue
and white, the arena lights flashing off completely, and a white mist
begins to run down the stage, march down the entrance ramp and invade
the ring.
Up on the Jumbotron plays Lost's highlights from NEW and other wrestling
federations he has been in. Him winning the NEW Tag Team Championship
and celebrating with Aaron Bomb. Another clip of him winning the same
title with Ozario Liscio. Him and some of his matches in Hell's Xtreme
Wrestling against Shale Stevens. And it ends with a clip of him winning
the HXW Heavyweight Championship.
The arena turns to black.
Lost is looming, knelt upon the entrance ramp. Head down, muscles
clenched and mind ready. Head quickly snapping into place, Lost wastes
no time advancing to his battleground. With every step he gets closer to
the ring. Calm and collected, a sense of seriousness radiates off his
mountainous figure as he slowly climbs into the ring.
Jill Matthews: “And here we have Virus’ opponent. Lost in Time. Now, given that you have a big guy under you management in Kronin, what are the pros and cons to being big?”
Lilly: “Well, obviously strength and power are the big advantages. Guys like Kronin and Lost in Time here can throw a smaller opponent around the ring all day long, but they can be vulnerable to a speedy opponent like a Valora or Cera. While Lost in Time is bigger than Virus, Virus isn’t small enough to really have a speed advantage so this should be a good matchup.”
The bell rings and the two fighters circle around each other. Virus shoots in and tries for a stiff kick to the ribs but Lost in Time catches it and drives his elbow into Virus’ knee before taking the man to the man with a belly to belly suplex. Lost in Time gets up and grabs Virus’ injured leg and kicks the man in the knee a few times, before rolling the man over and driving his knee into the mat.
Jill Matthews: “Ouch! Lost in Time is attacking that leg pretty good.”
Lilly: “Smart move there. Probably thinking ahead to try for the Lost in Pain.”
Lost in Time drags Virus to his feet and whips him into the ropes catching him with a Powerslam. Lost in Time jumps up and signals to the crowd that its time to end things.
Jill Matthews: “Looks like Lost in Time thinks he has the match won.”
Lilly: “Then he should end the match and stop bragging about it.”
Lost in Time throws in a couple of stomps and then locks in a sharpshooter, cinching the move in deep as Virus tries to escape and the ref checks for a submission.
Jill Matthews: “Lost in Pain! Seems you were right, Lilly!”
Lilly: “Virus has nowhere to go, this could go badly for him...”
After trying to escape and not being able to escape, Virus growls but eventually taps out and the ref calls for the bell.
Tom Davis: “Ladies and Gentlemen, the winner, by submission, LOST IN TIME!!”
Jill Matthews: “Well Lost in Time managed to halt Virus’ momentum here in this match.”
Lilly: “But Virus still has that Golden Contract. He’s still a player in things if he chooses.”
